A kidney table will provide the perfect setting for small group instruction. There are several benefits of small-group instruction, which include more efficient use of teacher and student time, increased instructional time, increased peer interaction, and opportunities for students to improve the generalization of skills. This type of instruction provides the opportunity to evaluate students' learning strengths, locate gaps in the development of their reading or math skills, and tailor lessons focused on specific learning objectives Small-group teaching is a distinct mode of teaching and is closely linked to active learning. It allows students – typically in groups of 6 to 8 – to practice, make mistakes and work out how to think about what they're learning, on their own terms
