This classroom project was brought to life by Hawai'i State Department of Education.

These math materials will help my students to learn and meet the Kindergarten standards because students will be able to problem solve, practice and review after learning new concepts, and play games that with reinforce what was learned. This will be done in small groups with the teacher and in math centers where students work independently. Developing math fluency with help students develop NUMBER SENSE and MENTAL MATH skills. The giant tracing numbers will help students learn the correct formation of number writing. The counters will help students with counting and 1-1 correspondence. The dice will be used in learning and practicing addition and subtraction. The possibilities are endless with what each of the materials could be used for throughout the year. All of them will be used for hands-on learning for the students.
