Words cannot describe how much your donation has impacted my students! The babies and multicultural food is used everyday for the students to explore using imaginary play skills! We used the eyedroppers on the first day items arrived to explore what happens when you mix different colored water! The STEM building set and the hamburger order game have been great for students to practice turn taking and cooperative skills! But the item that has been the most diverse item is definitely the Legos! Students have the opportunity to be a creative engineer and build different structures with Legos, students use Legos to build different letters and sight words, and students use Legos to help them with their emerging math skills!

This classroom project was brought to life by Bill Gates and one other donor.

These materials will be used to promote greater thinking skills, as well as promote peer learning. Some of these items will be used for independent learning (i.e. exploring with a magnifying glass), while others will be used for students to make connections with each other (i.e. dramatic play items). At this age, students learn best through play, and these supplies will allow my students to work together to explore the world around them. Please help me to be able to show my students, first hand, that learning can be so much fun!
