I teach first-grade students. They love colorful and unique things. These chairs might help encourage them to want to participate in teacher-led small groups. The expectation is that they will use these chairs for their center rotations. They will likely be preferred over the, often written on, regular red chairs in my room. It's not a magical solution to learning but it is a possible motivator. Small groups are often where we get the most bang for our buck. We can address students individually, quicker and easier. Imagine having fun and a new chair in this constructive area. I am hoping it does wonders. Thank you for your time and consideration.
