Self-care and social emotional well-being play a huge role in our children(s) effectiveness to be children and students. Students endured learning through screens, navigating numerous digital platforms, and rolling with the punches of distance learning and even hybrid teaching. All of which while still trying to be kids enjoying their learning. These construction building STEM/STEAM toy interlocking mini puzzle blocks, various building blocks, and other supplies for the classroom will give me the opportunity to organize, engineer, create and explore different facets of their learning and learning styles.
By donating to this project, you will provide each student with a variety of multifaceted tools to foster their creativity with hands-on learning.
These tools, which will become my brain/STEM bins, will help students to see that learning doesn’t have to simply be sitting behind a desk and reading from a textbook. They will also be able to enter the classroom with more ease after their year learning from home or through hybrid, rather than being thrown back into an environment they’ve been out of touch with for so long.
I am hoping that all of the hands-on materials that I have requested, along with the school supplies needed in the classroom, will create a classroom environment filled with discovery, excitement, curiosity, and problem-solving strategies.
