  • 100% Participation + Immediate Feedback = 100% Learning Opportunities!

    Funded Aug 17, 2021

Thank you so much for your generosity! My students and I have put all supplies and tools to great use!

Dry erase boards have been a favorite, They are utilized daily and holding up well in year 2!

As a first year teacher, last year, I was ever grateful for the support! My classroom had more than just the basics because you all of you!

I can speak first hand to the impact of individual items for student use. The grid side of the dry erase boards was instrumental when learning long division and keeping numbers aligned when working lengthy multiplication problems.

This was my first ever Donor's Choose project, and I was amazed at how quickly my goals were able to be reached when all of you jumped in and helped to contribute.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Cooper

  • Flexible Seating! (pt 1)

    Funded Oct 26, 2021

Thank you so much for helping make this happen! It means so much to my students to be able to have access to different seating options to help them stay engaged and focused! As a new teacher, it means so much to me as well to be able yo provide a better experience to the students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Cooper

Being a 1st year teacher, I still have many needs to support student learning. A top priority is Dry Erase Boards and pens. This allows for individual or group participation, quick sharing for instant, quick assessment. Thus allowing instant feedback, reteach, or move on decision made by live data. Students enjoy writing on the boards - (which also helps with focus and participation) These Dry Erase Boards will be a tool for all of my students for years to come. The side with the grid is ideal for math. 5th graders learn and practice long division, long decimals, long multiplication, fractions, etc., all of these can be taught, shown, understood much faster with graph paper or grid board. Currently, I have students write on paper turned sideways (which allows us to use columns to try and keep problems aligned), but we will go through sooooooooo much paper. The white side of the board will also benefit students in every subject. Again, all students answer same questions, share with team and teacher, and then learn what they know and what they still need to practice. The Low odor pens are smaller tipped so that numbers and graphs can be written neatly in the grid boxes.
