I am requesting materials which my students will use in my classroom to broaden their creativity in building and STEAM. Science, technology, engineering, art and math are essential in a preschool classroom. By providing my students with these materials they will be allowed to encouraged to strategically build new things as they work together. Since my school is in a low income neighborhood, I am determined to not let the label “poverty” follow my children as they grow. Simple materials as such can make a difference in a child’s life forever. STEAM is important in early childhood education since the preschool age is when children learn the most and science, technology, engineering, art and math are used on a daily basis in adulthood.

About my class
