My goal as an educator is to have multiple learning experiences that allow my students to practice key concepts in engaging and stimulating ways. Dramatic play experiences are essential for early childhood students, because it allows the students to learn through play and experiment with their own thoughts and feeling. The use of puppets is a great way for students to learn through dramatic play. These alphabet puppets will allow students to learn through imagination and play. This learning experience can include puppet theaters that allow students to practice letter identification and letter sounds in a unique way. This will also allow students to practice oral language development, which is essential for my EL students.
