To build a classroom community that supports all of my students, the learning opportunities provided need to be engaging and fun. Our classroom focuses on learning with hands-on manipulatives, interactive games, and daily read alouds. By contributing to my project, you are providing resources to create a more engaging learning environment where all of my students can find success in the classroom. As we have a little more movement available this year, I will be able to go back to the Workshop model where my students rotate through learning stations in both English Language Arts and Math. We can share read alouds to build classroom community and create student discussions, manipulatives will bring math concepts to life through a more concrete representation, and flexible wobble seating will offer students a more dynamic learning environment tailored to their needs. These items will help build student success in both an academic and social-emotional context.
