This classroom carpet will be the center focus of our group learning. It will provide a spot for each student, and will bring us together when I am teaching whole group, reading a story, or just sharing experiences together. It will be the focal point of our classroom and I am sure that the students will appreciate the bright colors and cozy place to dive into their learning. One of my favorite times of the day is reading a story to my students. I love gathering them together on the carpet and having their undivided attention as we learn about the characters and problems that unfold in a book. Many of my former students have told me that it was one of their favorite times of the day.
