I would like to create a Reading Center that my students can use as a resource and a place for me to do Read Alouds. In the fourth grade, we cover very intense subject matter during our Virginia Studies curriculum and the stories help put history into perspective. The encyclopedias are filled with text features that are sure to excite my fourth graders during our Text Feature Unit. The bins will help students to keep their books organized; the charts are to record reading data and keep track of goals.
