This project will provide the students in my special education class with a multimodal way of learning letters, beginning sounds, story telling, counting, STEM, and much more. The Stand Up Magnetic Design Center will be used by both myself and the students. The stand can be used as an instructional tool for myself and support staff to teach students in a small group center using the activities selected in this project. The best part of this project is that the students can independently use the Stand Up Magnetic Design Center to create, build, and learn with peers. This project supports my instruction of concepts and provides students with an opportunity to learn and play cooperatively with peers.
