One thing that bothered me was that my students did not have books that represented them. Most books that represented them were either represented their race either oppressed or struggling. I wanted to bring in books that represented them without making them feel down or sad. So I found books that not only represented them but uplifted them as well. Thank you for all of your support. You created an everlasting impact on them. Because of you, we were able to get books that represented a variety of cultures and celebrated everyone :)
Thank you!”

My students and I were really grateful for the donations we received for our classroom. With this project, I requested a lot of items to support my first year of teaching at my new school. Because of your kindness, I was able to start my first year at my new school prepared, allowing my students to start their day ready.
My students were really thrilled about their classroom. They thought it was extremely comforting and gave them a sense of pride. They felt as if the classroom was their second home.”

Thank you so much for your donations. I was able to start the year off great and be the best I could be for my students. I could not have done it without your support. With the supplies you gave me, my students were able to be prepared as well. A lot of the items went towards our classroom community supply closet. Since my school serves a large amount of underserved students, the donations went a long way. We are very grateful for the individuals on this platform. Thank you again for your support .
Be blessed!”

I am beginning my journey as a 5th-grade teacher at a charter school in Texas. Because a great number of our students live in an economically disadvantaged area, they are not able to afford supplies for school. Having supplies such as pencils, pens, paper, and folders will help boost the morale of the students because they are starting the year off right. Students are not embarrassed or ashamed that they do not have the tools they need to complete their lessons in class because this project will meet that need. Students will do more because they will have what they need to be successful in the classroom.
