  • Remarkable Learning

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

You are my heroes without a cape in a great time of need! Yes, I would love to thank you for the amazing incentives you were able to donate for my students. Every small item is bringing huge motivation for my students as they work on every assignment. I use every item as a prize and kids love to work for them and earn points, golden coins and tickets to purchase what they love. Students are working amazingly harder on assignments, district assessments, attendance, and even working together collaboratively to achieve higher goals. I feel that a small reward helps them want to do better in everything they do. I do praise them verbally for all their achievements, but a small bracelet, yoyo, ball , etc makes a huge difference. Thank you once again for your huge donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. SALAS

  • What a Prize!!!

    Funded Jan 8, 2022

There are no words to express my sincere gratitude for your kindness. Your donations have impacted my class tremendously. WHAT A PRIZE has motivated my students to try harder in their assignments and to comply with behavior rules. Prizes are always a way to motivate my students. They strive for the best especially when they know there is a reward. I will use your donations as a way to have PERFECT ATTENDANCE in the classroom especially now that we have gone through this huge pandemic and the students need the most motivation ever! Thank you once again for your kindness. You have not only helped a teacher, but you have motivated a whole classroom of young minds.”

  • Help! Learners Wanted

    Funded Oct 23, 2020

During this time of chaos, you have come to save my students and myself. You are believe it or not, the superheroes that haven't been yet discovered. You are the amazing people without capes that everyone looks forward to have in their lives. My students are amazed at all the colors, the highlighters, the tons of erasers and colorful pencils they are receiving. I will definitely surprise them with pencil cases in a variety of shapes. My students have learned to get used to a new way of online learning. We then have a horrible freeze where everyone lost power and even water. As I drive to their homes, I will definitely surprise them with the huge variety of supplies you have kindly donated.”

  • Show Me the Prize!

    Funded Jul 29, 2020

My students and I are very thankful for the items that you were kind enough to donate to my class. We use our white boards for practically everything during my virtual lessons. The students get very excited because that is one immediate way to show that they are learning. Every week, I choose a student of the week and I personally take them a small party bag to their homes and that is where I put in the prizes you donated. It has been a tough start of the year, but with the kindness of donors like you, my kids have been able to make this transition of learning a little smoother. I always try to encourage and thanks to all the little tokens of appreciation, they always try their best.”

  • I Know What it Means

    Funded Sep 23, 2019

Teachers can never thank our donors enough for the wonderful things you do for us. My students are always finding great ways to succeed and with English being the second language for many, the need for dictionaries is huge. I have received 15 awesome dictionaries and thesaurus that the students and I will automatically put to use. As we opened the box that was delivered, their eyes and mouths showed their enthusiasm and amazement for what they had received. Thank you once again for your generosity because it is thanks to you that our job is made easier.”

  • Love for Reading

    Funded May 7, 2019

What an excellent way to end the year and begin the summer!!! My students and I are very thrilled to have such great people out there that make dreams come true. The many books received are the best thing kids could have asked for. Every day they want to read a book before they go on vacation. We couldn't do it without your help. Seeing the glow in each face is what makes our day. It doesn't matter how big or small a donation is because at the end the satisfaction is enormous on our side. We are very excited for everything that is given to our students because it is always for the best of our children.”

THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME DONATION OF SUCH BEAUTIFUL PRIZES. THE STUDENTS WERE AMAZED AT HOW MANY DIFFERENT CHOICES THEY WERE GIVEN TO CHOOSE FROM. WHEN WE RECEIVED THE BOXES WITH THE VARIETY OF PRIZES, YOU COULD SEE THE LOOKS OF AMAZEMENT AND SURPRISE. THEY GIVE THEIR BEST ON EVERY ASSIGNMENT TO GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO THE TREASURE BOX. HOMEWORK IS A MUST IN THE CLASSROOM AND THEY EVEN DO A GREAT JOB BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY CAN BE SURPRISED WITH A PRIZE. I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR THIS POSITIVE ENCOURAGEMENT. MY STUDENTS NOW GO OVER AND BEYOND ON ASSIGNMENTS, ACTIVITIES, AND PROJECTS BECAUSE THEY NEVER KNOW WHEN A PRIZE COMES WITH THEIR HARD WORK.”

    Funded Dec 24, 2018

Wow!!! What a way to start the new year. My children are very excited and can't thank you enough for your wonderful donation. Starting the year with these athletic supplies is a great way to motivate my students to always strive for the best. It is because of great people like you that make our jobs sometimes easier and more exciting. We never know who is going to surprise our class with a donation of supplies, books, PE equipment and much more. I feel very honored that you took the time and the generosity to help me out in my project and get it funded. I will be receiving balls and jump ropes that will not only be used for exercising, but also to motivate the students to do well and earn free time. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for bringing a smile to my students.”

    Funded Oct 6, 2018

I am speechless!! I can't thank you enough for the awesome supply of books. My students are excited to read new books and are very eager to learn. I couldn't believe their faces when we pulled the books out, and they looked through all the Cinderella titles. Great people like you is who we need in our community and lives so that our children can have a better future. Now that my students have heard of how great people like you give up your time and money to support our projects, they are learning to value many things. They even ask me that how can they also donate. I don't have the words to appreciate and show you the greatness you bring to our hearts.”

  • Can You Hear Me?

    Funded Jun 11, 2018

We are very excited to use our speaker. There are so many uses and we are desperately waiting for the big important moments. During our award presentations every student who is receiving an award gets their name called out. Before, it was a struggle because of the sound system. During talent shows our students will be able to sing to the beat or dance to the words. Thanks to great donors like you, our school will be able to do so much. Our dance teams and after school programs will also be able to take advantage of this speaker. Thank you once again for your generosity.”

The majority of my students have a passion for learning, yet they are not given the opportunity sometimes. I would love to start my fourth graders with reading short funny books about school such as My Weird School books, and move on to other stories they might enjoy. Since their primary language is Spanish, they need to become more fluent speakers, readers and writers in the second language which is English. Well, how can they succeed if the practice is not done. The donation of this project will lighten up the lives of many of my students and enrich their lives with vocabulary and experiences without making an expense. It is through books that children can create visuals and travel at no expense. They can go anywhere and see beyond their five senses through the knowledge they grasp through reading. Students will always need reading in their lives no matter what job they choose to have when they grow up.
