Comfortable and Cozy FACS Classroom
Funded Aug 12, 2023This project has done amazing things for my students. They have a space that is warm and welcoming. I loved watching them walk into the classroom for the first time after I got it all put together. The chairs provide a comfy place for them to sit and read. They were so surprised and they loved it! It has also inspired other students to take my classes next year!
So, thank you so much for your support of my vision for my new classroom and helping me to bring it to life. I hope to continue to provide a safe, comfortable space for them where they want to come to class to learn about Family & Consumer Sciences.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Payton

Funded Aug 3, 2021My students are so happy that they have a nice, clean place to sit during morning circle time and story time. They are comfortable and the rug has vibrant colors with animals that goes right along with our animal print/safari classroom theme. The alphabet animals are a fun addition to our classroom.
My students were so excited when they walked into our classroom and the new rug was set up. They could not wait to see where their sit spot was located. They talked about the letters and the animals and made some connections.
Thank you so much for funding this classroom project!”

Mrs. Payton's Little Learners
Funded Nov 5, 2022I am so grateful that you funded our project, Mrs. Payton's Little Learners! My students have loved playing in the dollhouse with the new Pose and Play Families and reading the Social-Emotional Board Books. Both of these items help them become better at working through their emotions and developing socially. They love to rock the Feels Real Newborn Dolls to sleep. Sometimes they take a nap when the class does! The Multicultural Board Books, Hair Color Crinkle Strips, and Multlicultural Play Food Assortment ensure that all students feel represented during story time and center time.
They are also learning a lot about letters with the Tactile Liquid Letters. They play with them on the light table and like to move the liquid around in them by squeezing the letters. They are also using their imaginations to play with the Treasures Await Adventure Ship and the Treehouse Imagination Builders. They really enjoyed playing with these!
When they saw the new materials, they were so excited! They couldn't stop asking me about the new items. They rushed all around the room taking everything in. It was so neat!”

Funded Feb 8, 2022My students are loving the new comfy couch! I put it in our Home Living center and it has quickly become a favorite. With its new rug, end table, and little lamp it looks so cozy and just like home! When they are playing there, I hear them asking each other to "please, take a seat". It is adorable!
They were so excited when they first saw it! They remarked about how it was just their size and immediately asked when it was center time. They absolutely love it!
Thank you so much for contributing to this project!”

Pre-K Classroom Needs New Rug
Funded Jan 13, 2022We are using the new rug as a place to sit during our meetings. Each student has an assigned square on the rug. They know their letter and the animal that represents it. It is bright and colorful and adds to the cheerful and inviting environment that I tried so hard to create for my students.
My students were so excited to walk in our classroom and see their new rug! There were many shrieks and giggles as they walked all over it looking at each picture. They were saying the letters and animals. They absolutely love it! I have students who struggled to stay on the rug during our meetings and now they happily go to their square and sit. This rug has made a huge difference in classroom management.
This was a much needed part of my classroom! I am so thankful that you all contributed!”

Mrs. Payton
