  • Mrs. Elliott's Kindergarten Adventures!

    Sorry for such delay......my children thrived from the generous donations. They were able to learn math and phonics skills with hands on manipulatives and they loved it!

    They used these tools in small group centers to practice skills, the other materials helped students have school supplies when there parents could not afford it and it was so appreciated.The children have been busy working and learning all year and the benchmark tests show such growth in academics. Of course with smiles on there faces!

These are everyday supplies, pencils, glue, etc which my kiddos cannot afford and I supply out of pocket. This also includes several activities I can use in math and literacy centers to enhance independent learning so I can more easily work with small groups to target individual growth and development in their academics. At the kindergarten level my goal is to instill the love of learning aside from academic growth and accomplishments. Kindergarten is a critical stage in learning to set a strong base in place to carry them through.

About my class
