Children learn best when they can identify with their learning experiences and so building a library of books students would like to read will help them continue reading even when material becomes challenging. The practice of reading will allow students to improve their reading abilities which will in turn also help with improving writing skills and the willingness to do more tasks they may have been hesitant about before. Getting reluctant readers to become lovers of reading is my desire. I have seen the joy that comes when a reluctant reader now wants to read and volunteers to read and selects their own reading materials.
