• Fun Learning Materials in First Grade

  My first-grade students use the fun learning materials that were donated daily in the classroom. They love using materials that are fun, interactive, and interesting. They help my students stay engaged in learning in a positive, active, and organized environment!

  When I showed them all of the fun learning materials they were surprised! They were happy that the fun learning materials were donated to them!

  My students will use the fun learning materials when they learn the common core subjects ELAR, math, science, and social studies. Thank you again for everything!”

They use the materials during center time in the classroom. They work with their teams using all of the materials you donated to them.

• First Grade Star Readers

  My students use all of their new resources every day during station time. These resources are very interactive and engaging. They work in groups during reading stations. They are able to build the words they need with the puzzles that were donated to the class. The sight words help them be successful readers. In writing station, they get to build the rockets that were donated to them. This keeps them actively engaged in their learning. They also use different learning games that keep them engaged.

  When I added the resources to the learning stations, they were very excited. They have more opportunities to learn in a fun and engaging way. They love working with all of the resources daily that were donated from Panda Express to our first-grade classroom. Thank you so much for all of the wonderful resources my students use to learn their reading and writing skills.

  My students will continue to use the resources that were donated by Panda Express daily in our classroom. They will use them the most during ELAR stations. They are used in the writing, reading, and learning activities stations. My students love to interact with all of the resources that were donated to the class.”

• Wiggle! Move and Wobble Energy Chairs for Successful Learning

  Thank you so much for your wonderful donations! My students have really enjoyed using their wiggle wobble chairs in the classroom.

  My students were so excited when my assistant principal delivered our chairs to the classroom. Everyone got a chance to sit on one. They love wiggling and wobbling in the chairs. It helps so much with that extra energy first grade students have.

  We will continue using the wiggle wobble chairs to help my students release their energy while they are learning in the class!

• Mrs.Boyd’s First Grade Reading Star Champions

  My first grade students love to read! They have the opportunity to choose the books they want everyday from our classroom library.

  This project has given my students the opportunity to see a variety of books in their literacy rich journal!

  Reading is a very important part of my classroom. We have our own classroom library my students can read. The book bins are labeled by different reading genres. For example, we have animal fiction, realistic fiction, feelings, non-fiction, fairy tales, folk tales, Disney, and different authors books. My students love reading all of the books !

  My students are all enjoying the new books that were donated to us. They are able to make predictions while reading these books. They can identify the characters, setting, problem and solutions! They love looking at the wonderful illustrations from the illustrators of the books as well as the words written by the authors. My students have a love for reading they will always remember!”
