These materials will be used in both reading and math to allow my students to have a hands on learning experience. The students will be able to use these materials to connect their mind with items they can touch which can greatly better their understanding. I know that my students will benefit greatly from using these materials and that some of these will ease their frustration as they learn to read and count throughout Kindergarten. Hands on learning is a great way for students to learn. My goal is to use the unifix cubes for students to learn to count and out numbers into groups of ten, and some of the other activities will be used to help the students count and learn the alphabet.
