  • Create Art Along With Mr. Warner

    With your assistance, I was able to obtain a document camera and supplies needed to create art and project the images in the classroom. With social distancing in place, students are unable to come up as a group to watch an example I may be showing when it comes to step by step instructions.

    The document camera allows them to all see exactly what I'm doing from their seats and they are able to follow along without interruption. The paper and markers that I use are sturdy and bold and stand out on the screen.

    While not needed yet, the document camera will allow me to record my step by step instructions to allow easier access to students who may be learning remotely.

    The students also enjoy being able to share their artwork and point out their details of their creations like they were at a gallery.”

Since many of my students are non-native English speakers, them being able to see the instructions step by step visually will make their creating process easier. Having the requested document camera, markers, and drawing paper will safely allow me to show art and provide live visual instructions to the entire class. They will be able to safely stay in their seat while being able to see every step of the art creation process. These supplies will also allow me to capture and record the lesson so that I am able to have videos available for students 24-7 who may need additional time to complete a project, or who were unable to attend class. They will be able to start and stop the lesson so they can go at their own pace.
