The materials that I am requesting for my students are for them to use in the classroom and at home if needed. Being that we are departmentalized, I will teach approximately 80 students in Social Studies. The binders will be issued to each student to be used as interactive journals. These interactive journals will help them process information, study, and review for assessments. They can also use the journal to reflect on the content knowledge being presented to them. I believe that this is a good way to keep them engaged why they are learning. The printer will be used to print out the material needed to place in their journal.
