I am a Tiered Support Specialist working on Social Emotional Learning with approximately 500 students, grades PreK - 3, at a Title I school in Phoenix, AZ. My goal is to ensure that school is a safe place where we can meet all of their basic needs, teach them social and coping skills, and help them flourish as individuals. This will allow them to be as successful as possible in the classroom and beyond. Regulating emotions does not always come easily, and I have the privilege of helping my students learn these skills which will last them a lifetime.
