I want to bring Scholastic News Magazine to my students so they may continue to participate in critical thinking activities, annotated note-taking, and current events reports weekly. Every week my students log into Google classroom where they complete a presentation in Google slides based on an article in the Scholastic news weekly magazine. Students are required to present their reports to the class. I also use Scholastic news magazine articles in the classroom to build their critical thinking skills. Each week students read an article, make comments (annotate), and write a reflection.
