I have 20 students in three 4th grade classes. With this equipment, they will be able to partner up and have hands-on, personal learning. Last year we had one balance/weight set and no complete electrical circuit material to learn about mass and electricity. It was so hard to see how badly students wanted to try to use the equipment for themselves but there was not enough time to let each student have a turn with the balance and not enough pieces to complete electrical circuits. My students are so hungry to learn and experience science! I can already see the smiles on their faces and excitement over getting to practice with scales, circuits and the globe with their own hands! This equipment will allow them to ask and answer their own questions, which is priceless in the learning process!
