I believe that students should have access to books with varying themes, lengths, and reading levels. After encountering a year of virtual learning, I want to inspire my students to re-develop their love for reading. At the root of all learning, students need to feel encouraged, having a library that supports them is a must. On top of developing my classroom library, these book boxes include picture books I plan to use for read-alouds. I think this method of teaching is more engaging and supplies a great path for interactive learning. Research backs that students need access to a variety of books that are on reading level and also promote productive struggle.
