This classroom project was brought to life by The Allstate Foundation and 3 other donors.

My students deserve a cool, comfortable environment where the air flows freely. The lessons are rigorous and challenging and I realize it's hard to concentrate on what you are reading when you are hot and sweating. Our lack of cool air has had a negative impact on our learning and desire to want to sit in the classroom for an hour. I want to change the situation quickly so that it doesn't impact their grades. With fans on both sides of the classroom and a cool fridge, they benefit from a comfortable learning space. Placing the fans on opposite ends of my classroom will allow all my students a chance to cool down. I'm looking forward to cooling down the class and turning up the learning.
