I want to give my students a place to sit, away from their desk, to work on their learning. In my 7 years of teaching I have found that students work at a higher level when they get to choose their seating. I love giving them the opportunity for flexible seating while being creative and problem solving. As an adult, I personally work better when I am comfortable. This area rug will not only give students the opportunity to work on the floor, but will give us a space to have our morning meetings and come together as a family.
