In order to access mental health services for their kids, families have to travel out of town and many of them cannot afford the financial expense. I am requesting a TV and TV wallmount. So how can I help my students? In addition to providing individual counseling, I would like to utilize this TV as a tool to stream mental health videos and other mental health programs, one-on-one or in a group setting, right in my office. I have created a calming area where students can come to sit and catch their breath when things become too overwhelming for them. When I am not using the TV to deliver mental health resources, it will be used to cycle inspirational and motivational quotes, calming scenes, breathing techniques to minimize anxiety and much more. Every child deserves an opportunity to be happy and successful. Having the tools to deliver mental heath services in this manner will make a huge difference in supporting and strengthening our students' mental and emotional well being. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
