In the past, I have students that could not bring their own compass to class or it breaks so they don't have one to use. I would like to have a class set so that no matter what, they will always have one available. We will be using the base 10 blocks to help students understand all concepts related to decimals. Decimals are hard for students to picture and conceptualize but these manipulatives will make it easier. Students will learn place value, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing decimals with these blocks.
