Scholastic materials are important to the students because they provide on-level reading material that the students can understand and enjoy. Their student magazines are wonderful because they supply quality information about real-world topics in science and social studies, and the kids actually WANT to read them! Their book collections are also an amazing addition to classroom libraries because they get the kids excited about reading. The students absolutely love exploring the Scholastic News, and I would be so excited to provide it for them.
