These materials will help organize the students' materials for easy access to books, activity kits, or station materials. It will also give them a place to turn in their work or find extra supplies. The rug and bean bag will provide space for them to read their favorite books, either independently or with partners before conferencing over the material. There will also be reference materials for their cursive writing skills, items I can use to label items and to help boost their confidence via their bulletin board that will showcase their work and our standards.
