Hello, I am a first-year teacher fresh out the gate. What that means is I have absolutely no classroom materials for my first graders next year. The most important thing a classroom should have is a library. Because most teachers have to pay for their own materials, I don't have any books. A love of reading is something that must be taught, and that can't be taught in an environment without literature. These books will stock a classroom library and will impact the lives of so many children. Thank you for any consideration you give me and my firsties. Books really can change the world.
