I would like to create a classroom library with enough books that every student will find something they like. I also plan to do Book Clubs with my ELA students this year. In the Book Club, there will be a group of 3-4 students reading the same book. I will create the groups based on their reading levels. I want to give them a variety of books to choose from. To do this, I need several class sets of books, or at least 5 of each title, to allow them to choose. In the Book Club, each student will have a job, to ensure that everyone is reading. They will decide how many pages they read, and they will also get to choose their job for the day. I am second year teacher, so I have not been able to build my library, yet.
