The MacBook computer requested will replace the classroom computer used daily to teach virtual lessons to remote students, provide in-person students with real-time feedback on digital assignments, operate the smartboard, manage our digital classroom, keep track of grades and assignments, and offer students STEM opportunities. As the digital landscape evolves quickly I need a reliable computer capable of streaming and presenting lessons, as well as being used in the classroom. The computer I used for several years is very slow and outdated. This computer is not capable of the rigors of a modern classroom with live streaming and running multiple applications. Students and I experience lag when learning remotely. They need their teacher to have a reliable computer where they are guaranteed to see my face and have theirs seen too. During these challenging times, being able to connect in a meaningful way is paramount for success.
