Flexible seating and lighting provides a more comfortable classroom environment. In my classroom, it is critical that students feel comfortable both physically and emotionally. I provide my students with an abundance of love and choices to help them be successful. The materials I am requesting will help enhance my classroom library, that my students did not get to enjoy this past year. My students are noticeably more engaged and are highly motivated to do their best work when they are given a comfortable environment to learn in. Independent reading is one of the most important parts of our day. Students feel encouraged to read when the books are easily accessible and organized. The shelves will house the many books I have been collecting through the years. The lights will also be part of our classroom library to create a comfortable place to read. The class labels will support both my ELL students and students learning Spanish. The stools will provide more flexible seating. Lastly, the disco light will be used when we celebrate our hard work and sing our goodbye song. Thank you very much again for your contributions. I know how much my students will appreciate and love their classroom library.
