Black History: A Vision in Excellence!
Funded Apr 6, 2023Although the supplies arrived after the official Black History Month celebration, we were able to utilize the materials during classroom time, because we strive to celebrate Black History every day of the year. Therefore, the materials were received just in time! The students were excited about the items received, namely the books, wristbands and affirmation poster sets. Several students selected books that were of special interest to them.
Thanks for your generous donations, we have some awesome banners to display for upcoming Black History celebrations and historical books for the students to reference for years to come.
Many thanks for the gift of history lessons and cultural awareness.”

Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you so much for considering my students' needs in the classroom. Your donations allowed them to be at ease knowing that they would have access to supplies that they could not acquire on their own. They have the freedom to go to the supply station and retrieve the supplies they are in need of each day that they come to class. They are/were ever so grateful for your generosity in funding this project. With this need being met, the students were able to put more attention on their classroom assignments and continue their journey to being successful scholars.
Again, thanks for all you do for our students! You make education easier for all stakeholders.”

Funded Dec 22, 2022Visualize This! Yes, can you see it? Students being able to receive teaching based on the way they learn best. As it is known, we do not all learn the same way. Hence, the request for a laptop to be able to reach those students that are audiovisual learners. With the use of the laptop attached to an LCD projector, I was able to reach those learners. I was able to project lessons and play audios. Thank you so much for your part in this endeavor. Your support provided my students with the opportunity to learn in a manner that is individually beneficial to them. Thank you again for supporting my effort to reach all my students!”

Funded Dec 19, 2022We are so indebted to each of you for your generosity. Without your support, we would not have the opportunity to enjoy the freshness of cool and clean water. As it stands, we do not have access to clean water unless it is donated or brought from home. When we do receive these donations, we're left with the task of cooling the water. That's where you came in and stepped up to the plate. Students now have access to not only clean water, but clean and cool water. Thank you so much for blessing the students in this way. Your generosity will not go unnoticed. Again, thank you!”

Funded Jul 28, 2021Thank you for your support of my project "PPE In The Classroom"! A sanitizing station was set up in the front of the classroom. As students entered the room, they were able to retrieve sanitizer, kleenex, hand wipes and disinfecting wipes as needed. Disinfecting spray was also available as needed. The sanitizing station provided a sense of safety for the students throughout the class period. Students were able to access the station as needed. Also, masks were given out to students who needed them. Students would sometimes come back to my classroom to access the sanitizing station and/or to get a new mask. Thank you for providing the PPE resources for my classes. They have really provided us with the added security needed during this time. Your support is greatly appreciated. Again, THANKS!”

Funded Jul 27, 2021Thank you so much for helping my students get their school year off to a great start. With all the uncertainties surrounding going to school during the pandemic, having to buy some of their school supplies was not one of them. They were very excited to receive the notebook paper, highlighters, mechanical pencils, pens, etc. It really made a positive impact on them and allowed them to be better prepared for school. They were ready with pen and paper in hand to begin the school day. Also, they were able to use the highlights and pencils to add to the quality of their work. Again, THANKS for all you do to support education!”

Funded Aug 13, 2021In my computer class, the students have to create PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation to show their competencies in using these programs. They are very creative and excited to do these types of projects. Usually, they only get to see their finished product on the computer device. With the class printer/ink provided by you, the donors, they were able to see and keep hard copies of their work. I believe that they were as proud of their work as their teacher. Thank you for providing them with this awesome experience. We will continue to have more opportunities for them create more projects and get immediate feedback. Again, thanks for all you do.”

Funded Nov 22, 2021Thank you for providing my students with some of the resources needed for their computer class. Earbuds are a part of their recommended class supply list. However, a lot of them do not have access to earbuds/headphones or access to go to the store to buy them. Those students sometimes have to complete their assignments at home. They have to complete assignments that involve audiovisuals on a daily basis. This means that they have to have their device charged and ready to be used. They also need access to earbuds/headphones to listen to the audiovisual assignments without disturbing other students; and, without being disturbed, themselves. Thank you for taking care of this little inconvenience for my students. They were super excited and very grateful when I passed out the earbuds and thankful that they had a place to charge their devices. I was sure to tell them that they were donated by you. Your generous donation of the earbuds and surge protectors provided them with these items. Thank you so much for your donations!”

Purifying Peace in the Air!
Funded Nov 22, 2021Thank you for supporting my project, Purifying Peace in the Air. Your support provided my students cleaner air in the classroom. My room is not big enough for us to socially distance according to CDC guidelines. However, the air purifier and desk shields did provide the students the opportunity to have some safety procedures in place. The shields provided an extra barrier and a sense of safety for them. My students were super excited to have the desk shields and the added protection of the air purifier. With this added protection in place, the students felt more at ease when working. This was one less thing that they had to be concerned with. You did this. Thank you so much for the peace we are experiencing, because of your support.”
