My students love to move around and are limited by heavy chairs. These flexibility options will offer them the ability to move around the room and be comfortable at the same time. Feeling like they are at home will help in engagement and excitement. The students can move these seats quickly and quietly from one place to another. Small groups are often conducted on the floor for easy movement and for a change of seating so these items will definitely be put to good, comfortable and frequent use. As adults, when we want to relax and enjoy reading, most of us choose a comfortable spot to sit. Yet, the seating in most classrooms is rigid and uncomfortable. Therefore, I would like to provide my students with a comfortable seating area for reading independently in my classroom.
