We use our read-alouds a lot in our class to connect to lessons and help students learn how to deeply analyze texts. However, it is hard to be able to dive deeply when the students can only refer to the text when looking at it under the classroom camera. If we were to get copies of each book, students will be able to learn how to use metacognition by tracking their thinking, write literary analysis essays, and discuss their thoughts along with their classmates. Thank you for choosing our classroom!
