Funded Jan 4, 2023Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. My students were thrilled when they learned we got a donation for our calm corner. My students benefit from the sensory toys and having a safe space to calm down.
Since day one, my students have gotten good at asking permission to use our calm corner when they are not feeling their best. Each day I can see how my students are learning to take control of their emotions and practicing self-regulation skills. Now, I can spend more time teaching.
I appreciate your support and this beautiful calm corner.”

Reading and Sensory Toys
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thanks to your donations, I have gotten differentiated resources to support my students in learning and meeting their IEP goals. The help from Teacherspayteachers has supported my students in making significant progress in their reading skills. I have implemented resources, using shaving cream and sensory activities to increase engagement and student participation.
The sensory items I bought with your support has motivated my little ones to complete their assignment and participate in the activities.”

Funded Mar 1, 2022Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. I have been using the digital TeachersPayTeachers gift card to purchase Math task cards for my first and second graders. I have also purchased a writing bundle to support my kindergarteners' writing. I want to prepare my students for the next school year. Therefore, this differentiated bundle will help their writing skills and be prepared them for the upcoming year.
I have also been utilizing the gift card to purchase visuals for my students to support them with self-regulation.”

Funded Feb 2, 2022Thank you so much for donating playdough, ink, prizes, and other material requested. I have been using the playdough to support my student's fine motor skills, and when they are actively participating in the activities, they earn points that could be redeemed with the prices I got from your donation. They use the playdough to learn their names, numbers, and letters, and they look forward to them every day. They were very excited to see different color playdoughs. With the ink you donated to my class, I printed out mats for them and differentiated activities. I was able to print colorful ELA and Math task cards for them.
Our class is beyond thankful for your donation to our class.”

Funded Mar 4, 2022I want to thank you for donating this Ipad to my classroom. This iPad is a handy tool for me and my nonverbal students who struggle to communicate their needs. I downloaded an app named "Visuals2go," which supports my student's communication through visuals and text to speech. I am using one-word visuals, but eventually, I plan to add sentences to increase students' vocabulary.
One of my students with an intellectual disability enjoys using the app, and I have noticed she vocalizes more sounds and words. I have also noticed a decrease in behavior as she now can communicate using the iPad. I can see that her frustration with not being able to express herself is decreasing. Instead of throwing tantrums, she now uses the iPad to request the things she needs, such as coloring paper, crayons, and other classroom supplies we have.
The iPad is very handy for me as a teacher because I can respond to my parents through an app called Classdojo without going over to my computer.
I am beyond grateful for your generous donation.”

Flexible Seating
Funded Nov 3, 2021Thank you for your donations to building a flexible seating classroom and other materials we received. My students were very excited to get a wobbling chair and bouncy balls to support self-regulation. I have noticed that my students stay in their seats and produce work because they can wobble on their seats.
My students and I are also grateful for the magnetic letters, timers, magnetic bins, and markers we received. We needed those materials for our tactile learners and to stay organized, and on track with time during our small group instruction centers.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness towards my students.”
