This rug will be used daily and provide my language learners a bright and educational place to sit while learning English as well as social norms in an American school. A key component of successful language learning is to honor the students’ diverse backgrounds. We often discuss home countries and places around the world, this rug will allow students to point out, find, and share their culture. Beyond the geography aspect of the rug, it will also open up a learning platform for colors and letters. The world of language learning is challenging, providing students a cozy place to do so will benefit them greatly!

About my class
