Storage Sacks: A Special Place for Books!

Thank you so much for donating to the storage seat sacks for my first graders. The storage sacks are being used to organize my students' books. My first graders go to the school library every other week where they get to choose books to keep in these storage sacks.
Back in September, they were all emerging readers, now they are all thriving and their reading is progressing rapidly. They love to read independently, as well as with each other. It is so wonderful to see the growth in my young scholars!

This classroom project was brought to life by William Penn Foundation and 6 other donors.

My students will be in first grade and will be coming to a classroom with tables, instead of desks and minimal storage space. The storage sacks will provide them a place to keep their leveled books, as well as writing utensils organized, for easy access. I believe having these storage sacks will help to promote a love of reading, and important organizational skills, and easy access for them to find exactly what they need. The seat sacks fit nicely behind each chair, for convenience and space. It would be greatly appreciated to have these fully funded.
