This project will help me to create an amazing reading corner in my classroom. The materials/donations will give my students a comfortable, calming, and wonderful place to read. This reading corner will give my students a place to explore books, read comfortably, and fully immerse themselves in wonderful books. I want all of my students to not only be strong readers but to fall in love with reading, ultimately setting them up to be lifelong readers. I know that having flexible seating options, a comfortable space, books displayed, calm lighting, and a cozy rug will help motivate them to read.
