Reduce, Reuse, and Repeat

Funded Jul 13, 2021

My students are LOVING the materials that were funded in my "Reduce, Reuse, and Repeat" project. The students are able to interact with the bulletin boards, as well as collaborate with one another, to problem solve and visualize their solutions. For example, during our math block, the students are able to show each other the work they are thinking about in their heads. They are able to help each other correct mistakes and clearly show their answers.

When my students walked into our classroom and saw the brightly colored bulletin boards, they were so excited! They were even more excited to see that the bulletin boards could be written on, which made it more creative and inviting for each student.

My hope, in the next few weeks, is to start incorporating the materials into more than just our math centers, but writing centers as well. I hope to give my students every opportunity to explore their creativeness and clearly show their thinking processes.”

With gratitude,

Ms. Hoag
