This rug will help to not only enhance the students' school-related abilities but their sense of community as well. This rug will be utilized for morning calendar time, for read-alouds from a variety of age appropriate books, for brain breaks, for dancing sessions, and for lots more! This rug will empower my students to be mindful of their peers, to be eager to learn, and to be a kind and attentive friend. I have no doubt that this rug will transform my classroom and will aid in creating a safe, inviting, and inclusive space for my sweet kindergarteners.
