Although it is a very important part of our town and community, our Kindergarten through 3rd grade building was built in the early 1900's and prove to be challenging and expensive to update. Currently I have no functional white board space in my room because the 60-70 year old blackboards were covered with shower board as a cheap alternative 5-10 years ago and have since become severely stained and scratched. My students must have somewhere to keep their writing and reading anchor charts visible as well as a place to list words we are working with for the week or month. This white board will enable me to give them a clean, organized space to keep materials for constant review and reinforcement. Please join me in placing an importance on a clean and organized learning environment and area to display the important standards and points learned throughout the year.
