These book will give my 4th grade students print rich quality material that will assist in building a vast vocabulary through various types of reading material. Studies show that student that are exposed to reading material helps their brains develop stronger function and connectivity. The changes caused by reading a novel were registered in the left temporal cortex, an area of the brain associated with receptivity for language, as well as the the primary sensory motor region of the brain. It is important to me that I assist in helping my students get the best chance at being successful readers of all material they encounter daily. Building these skills with print rich interesting material will assist them in becoming more literate in all areas of literacy.
