Kids need to move both inside and outside of the classroom!!! After spending the last year plus laying in bed, on the floor, and in rows while learning, they need flexibility more than ever! I have found that kids love to sit in different positions and in different ways while learning. They love to sit on the floor, up high, in special chairs, and of course on anything that moves! In fact, my first choice is the floor too, which Is why I can relate so well!!!! When kids are comfortable, they are more focused, and more apt to work well together! I have worked hard to create an environment kids love to learn in, but I need your help! Flexible seating is a great way to meet both the needs of academic learning, but also social, and even emotional learning. Kids are often required to work together. Different seating options help everyone to be involved, and hopefully, willing to participate more as well! Please help me to continue building an environment that is filled with the ability to adapt to change, while also preparing kids for the years ahead in school, and in the workplace. THANK YOU!!!!!!
