The use of graph paper will be used most days in my pre-calculus and algebra II classes. During these two classes, the students will learn about the coordinate plane. It will be very helpful for them to see what I am doing on the graph paper on the graphing chart pad while they are drawing their own graph on their own graphing paper that they will be able to make thorough notes on and take home to study. For review of these topics, we will use the graphing white boards. During these review days, they can hold up the white boards so that I can quickly assess where the students are. For the anglegs, my Pre-Calculus students will use these immensely once we begin talking about angle and radians. The TeacherPayTeacher gift card will be used to purchase materials and activities for my pre-calculus, algebra II, statistics, and ACT Prep classes. Finally, the dice will be used for my statistics class. For example, we will calculate the probability of two dice landing on the same number. Then, I can split the students up into groups to have them find how many times the two dice actually landed on the same number. This activity will teach them the difference in theoretical and experimental probability. The opportunity to use the dice in my classroom is pretty much endless!
