  • On Y Va! Let's Go...

    Funded Nov 1, 2021

    This project allows my students to feel supported by the community. With these materials and new lessons, the Los Amigos high school French program will continue to thrive! In particular the new markers and sharpie pens have allowed each table to collaborate and create high quality projects that can be shared with others and posted.

    Our classroom continues to be a place of creativity and inspiration. Thanks to donors like you, teachers like me can make a difference by teaching French everyday.”

  • French It Up

    Thank you for your generous donation. With these new supplies the students were able to start the new school year with new posters and new French books.

    The students particularly loved the selfie sticks. This resource was used many times by the French club. It enabled them to learn about French culture and get to know their peer.

    One of my favorite resources was the gift certificate to Teachers Pay Teachers. I was able to start off the year with new lessons on French music. I also learned how to implement some new teaching methods.

    I am always looking for ways to improve my class. Please consider donating to one of my projects in the future.

By supporting this class you will be helping to create an opportunity for high school kids to learn French in a very hands-on way with books, props, and French activities. Some of these items will also be used for after-school enrichment like the French club. Students in the club will learn about a new culture and cuisine. This will also fund new and engaging curriculum opportunities that are posted on Teachers Pay Teachers, a site that pays teachers for the lessons that they develop.
