Presently, I do not have access to a color printer at school. Students generally are attracted to colorful materials which stimulate their interest rather than a boring black and white print. My focus this next school year is on Math. I have seen where the pandemic affected this subject, with most of the school year being virtual. It will take a lot of resources and specially prepared worksheets to get students interesting in paper and pencil again. Most math questions call for application which means seeing things in color would make a big difference. Students are also given differentiated materials which cater to some students who are more visual learners. Students do far better in the hands-on worksheets, such as card stock activities in stations, this will surely give a break from the overly used computers from virtual learning from the past year.
